An Experiment in Scotch

As of today, all tech related blog­ging that I do will be done at my new tech/programming/safe-for-work blog, Men­tal Pandic­u­la­tion. I’m doing this for a cou­ple of rea­sons. 1, I really like the cur­rent Theme of this blog but it doesn’t play par­tic­u­larly well with Google syn­tax high­lighter so my tech writ­ing is strangely for­mat­ted. 2, I want this blog focused more on actual writ­ing and most of my tech blog­ging doesn’t fit there.

Of course, there’s a chance that by start­ing yet another blog, they will all suf­fer in qual­ity. I’ve done this before with a gar­den­ing blog that imme­di­ately died a hor­rific death. How­ever, there were some exten­u­at­ing cir­cum­stances there plus I think this sit­u­a­tion is dif­fer­ent enough to keep both blogs focused and pro­duc­tive. Plus, this helps out those in my audi­ence who have no idea what I’m talk­ing about when I say things like “Clo­sures are the shiz­znit in Clo­jure and they are pretty cool in C# as well”.

All my tech blogs have been added to Men­tal Pandic­u­la­tion. They will also remain here so that past links and google searches can still find them. Word­Press import sucks so com­ments did not get imported how­ever, that’s hardly worth men­tion­ing since there were so few of them on the tech blogs.
