Restrict­ing the arm­ing of cit­i­zens in that case resulted in a large num­ber of casualties.

  How is Ronald Rea­gan get­ting shot related to the fact that armed cit­i­zens often reduce the num­ber of casu­al­ties in a sit­u­a­tion like this?

  Lunatics always find a way if they are so inclined. My point is that armed cit­i­zens often reduce the effect of the lunatic.
